About the event
Perfect for newcomers, this class covers everything you need to confidently start and care for your own hive. You’ll learn honeybee biology, essential equipment, common diseases, seasonal management, and take part in a live field session—including installing a nuc and performing a full hive inspection.
Students who choose the higher-priced ticket will receive a steeply discounted beginner hive and get guided instruction on assembling and using it during the course.
Whether you're looking to start your first colony or simply want to understand the world of honeybees, this course gives you the knowledge—and the confidence—to begin the right way.
